You have probably never heard of this town but, despite its anonymity and not being all that easy to get to, it is well worth the visit. I suffered through Greek History in my final year at school and, although that was a (very) long time ago, I was surprised how much came back to me as we wandered the Peloponnese in southern Greece, a land better known for its olives (the next village is Kalamata) and an almost 30 year war in the early years of the 4th Century BC.
