Mum visited me in New York and, together, we took a road trip around New England — the place we both loved most was New Hampshire, particularly as our journey coincided with the fall foliage season. It is hard to describe the colours nature produces when in this part of the world summer morphs into fall, the days become shorter, and the nights are a little on the nippy side.
