In another life I lived in New York for eight years. In fact, it reached the point where I was almost forced to make the decision to permanently extend my stay. Needless to say that didn’t happen but to be able to spend so long in such a magical place changed me in many ways — and I think mostly for the better. This trip was the first time I had returned in about 10 years and to say it was wonderful to be back would be an understatement
